TITANIUM FLAT BARS

Kiran Enterprises is engaged in the production and supply of high-quality titanium flat bars (also known as Patta or Patti), manufactured to ASTM B348 standards. Our Titanium UNS R50400 Patti is produced from premium resources in our extensive inventory, ensuring superior durability and extended work life. Capable of fulfilling large bulk orders, we meet both national and international quality standards by providing titanium flats in various sizes and lengths suitable for multiple industries.
We also accept custom orders and manufacture Titanium UNS R50400 Patti based on specific customer requirements. To guarantee product quality, Kiran Enterprises conducts rigorous testing on all products before dispatch. Our ASTM B348 Titanium Flat Bars undergo several assessments, including hardness tests, flattening tests, micro- and macro-tests, mechanical testing (such as tensile strength), and inter-granular corrosion (IGC) testing.
As a stockist, we maintain a comprehensive selection of titanium flat bars in various incremental sizes to meet specific engineering needs.
Differences Between Titanium Flats and Plates
The primary difference between titanium flats and plates is size, as titanium flats typically measure less than 8 inches wide. Both share similar chemical and mechanical properties. Titanium is 45% lighter than steel but retains excellent strength, which is further enhanced by alloying elements like aluminum and vanadium. We also supply commercially pure titanium, an unalloyed variant suitable for various applications.
Processing and Applications
Our in-house processing teams handle titanium flat bar orders with precise cut lengths. Typical applications for titanium flat bars include motorsport, aerospace, and automotive industries, as well as general engineering applications that require high strength-to-weight ratios. Though titanium is more costly to produce than aluminum, the choice between the two metals generally depends on the balance between cost and performance.
Choosing Between Aluminum and Titanium
While titanium is about two-thirds heavier than aluminum alloys, it provides much greater strength, requiring less material for equivalent performance. The decision between aluminum and titanium depends on the specific requirements of the application.
Available Grades and Technical Assistance
We stock titanium flats in various grades. Our knowledgeable staff and resident metallurgists are available to provide further technical assistance as needed. Kiran Enterprises also has an in-house, UKAS-accredited testing laboratory, unique within the multi-metal and plastic stockholding sector, demonstrating our commitment to quality and comprehensive service.
